Andrea's new bike
I am building my wife Andrea a new bike for her birthday.
Most of our road riding includes dirt roads and gravel roads. Andrea is not as comfortable with the offroad conditions on a standard road bike so I want to give her a new fancy bike for her birthday (it is literally the week after NAHBS and has been during NAHBS in the past). The bike will have fenders, longer rake fork, longer chainstays and a few other things to allow stability in the rougher roads. I think she is going to dig the new bike and hopefully others like it as well since it will be on display in Richmond. I started it today and here are a few random shots of it in process:
